Carville Job Corps Academy partners with local employers to give students real-life work experience while training. Students can further their educations through partnerships with local community colleges.
The center offers a modern recreational center with a full-size basketball court, men’s and women’s weight rooms and an arts and crafts room. Softball and volleyball facilities are also available. Students can participate in various clubs on campus or in leadership opportunities through the center’s residence halls, JROTC or center ambassador program.
