Partnerships with local employers allow Shreveport Job Corps Center students to gain real-world experience in their career technical areas. The center also has partnerships with local community colleges and collaborates with an area high school for career technical training.
Students have the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts programs and intramural sports. They can gain leadership experience through the center's ambassador and mentor programs or as a participant in residence hall leadership.
